Meet the Client (Interview 1) |
- SD Loans and Leasing listens to your requirements and identify your lending needs
- YOU are invited to a client interview to discuss your options and sign privacy forms, preliminary credit assessment report/Finance Broker Contract to enable us to gather your information to process your application.
- YOU will need to bring to this appointment the information noted on the Pre Application check list.
- SD Loans and Leasing declare their commissions and our licence information which forms part of the Finance Brokers contract.

Step 2 |
Application Process (Interview 2) |
- Now that SD Loans and Leasing has collected all your information from Step 1 and had you sign the preliminary forms we can process your application and present you with some suitable options to suit your needs.
- SD Loans and Leasing will source a variety of lending options.
- Present you with 3 suitable options + details of each option disclosed.
- YOU give the loan process the 'go ahead' on which option you wish to take.

Application Process Continued (Interview 3) |
- SD Loans and Leasing attends to inputting your data into an online Loan Application process with the chosen lender.
- YOU sign the online application form once the data has been inputted.

Day 10 |
Step 4 |
Conditional Approval (no interview) |
- SD Loans and Leasing advises you when conditional approval is received.
- Conditional approval could be approval that your finance is approved subject to finding a suitable property or if you have located a property subject to a valuation on the property you have signed a contract on. Or if you are building, finance might be approved subject to a valuation on the building contract.
- Allow up to 7-10 days to obtain a conditional approval – depending on how busy the lenders are

Day 14 |
Step 5 |
Valuation (no interview) |
- SD Loans and Leasing arrange the valuation of your property on behalf of the lender. When it is received back from the valuer, SD Loans and Leasing sends it to the lender for acceptance.
- Allow up to 4 days to obtain the valuation back from the valuer and acceptance from the lender

Day 18 |
Step 6 |
Unconditional Approval (no interview) |
- SD Loans and Leasing advises you that they have received unconditional approval on your loan.
- SD Loans and Leasing advises your Solicitor of your unconditional finance application.
- SD Loans and leasing instructs the lender to prepare mortgage documentation to be sent to our office or to you directly depending on the situation.
- Allow up to 4 days

Day to 25 |
Step 7 |
Sign up (Interview 4) |
- YOU sign documentation witnessed by a JP.
- SD Loans and Leasing returns signed mortgage documentation in preparation for settlement.
- Allow up to 7 working days

Day 26 |
Step 8 |
Loan Settlement (no interview) |
- Solicitor and Lender arrange settlement.
|
Day 30 |
Step 9 |
Key to the Door (no interview) |
- Your Solicitor attends to your settlement and provides you with the keys to the door.

Day 31 |
Step 10 |
Feedback Form |
- SD Loans and Leasing request feedback on their performance from you via an online feedback form.
